SWAT: At least two extremists have been killed in a security forces’ action in Swat Tehsil of Kabal, Geo News reported Monday. According to sources, security forces and the extremists entered an armed clash in Manja area of Kabal, where two extremists were killed. Forces recovered weaponry and bullets from possession of extremists. It should be mentioned that hand grenades were flung at the member of a local Peace Committee near Manja yesterday. A woman was killed in the incident.

SWAT: A woman was killed and three persons were injured in a blast that rocked a house in Swat’s tehsil of Kabal this morning, Geo News reported Sunday. The blast occurred at the house of Roshanzada, who is member of local Peace Committee in Kabal area of Sangarserai, killing a woman and injuring three others. KHUZDAR: At least four of the same family were killed and five others were affected by drinking the contaminated water in Khuzdar tehsil of Wadda, Geo News reported Saturday. According to sources, the victims of infected water included the guardian of the house Gaji Khan, his wife and two children. The local sources told that the deaths have been caused with the dirty water of Aranji nullah, where people use poisonous powder for fishing despite the fact that the same water is used for drinking. BALAKOT: Leaders of Tehrik Hazara Province warned Wednesday that the ruling PPP would suffer an irreparable loss if it did not change its attitude towards the people of Hazara. Addressing a gathering in Balakot tehsil of Mansehra, THP chief Baba Haider Zaman said both federal and provincial governments had closed their eyes toward Hazara, which forced them to launch a civil disobedience movement. The speakers said that they would hold talks with every such person who would have the authority. The people of Hazara, they said, have marked their destiny.

PESHAWAR: At least 11 extremists were killed in a fresh action by the security forces in Orakzai Agency and Swat, Geo News reported. Also, the extremists blew up a Health Center in Upper Orakzai Agency. SWAT: Four militants on Friday surrendered themselves before security forces in Kabal tehsil of Swat. According to security officials, they conducted search operation in two mosques located in Kabal tehsil and recovered a huge cache of arms. The arms included eight hand grenades, two Kalashnikovs, one light machine gun and scores of bullets. In addition, four militants laid down their arms before security forces.

SWAT: Two persons were killed and two other injured on Thursday in a firing incident in Kabal tehsil of Swat. According to sources, unidentified men shot dead two persons, a member of local peace committee. The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

MIRANSHAH: The death toll in a drone attack in North Waziristan Agency’s tehsil of Boya area of Muhammed Khel, rose to 13 today, Geo News reported Tuesday. Earlier, the security officials said the US surveillance plane shelled a Taliban compound in the NWA with two missiles killing five militants on the spot. SHEIKHUPURA: Four people, including a woman, were gunned down on Tuesday in Sharqpur tehsil of Sheikhupura due to some old dispute. The police registered a case against 13 accused named in the killings. According to police, a local armed Mustafa Group forcefully entered the house of its rival Farman Group and opened indiscriminate firing on the people present there.
