KARACHI: Ayesha Siddiqui, the alleged wife of Shoaib Malik, Saturday said that she had never forced Shoaib to marry her and that it was Shoaib himself who first expressed the intention of getting married.
Talking exclusively to Geo News, Ayesha Siddiqui clarified that she had never chatted with Shoaib over the Internet nor did their first meeting took place on the Internet.

HANOI: Vietnamese police have seized about 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of ivory near the border with China, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
Traffic police made the discovery after stopping a car early Friday morning, said Tuoi Tre newspaper, which did not say if any arrests were made.
The police declined to comment when contacted by a French news agency.
State-linked media reported last year that Vietnamese police had seized hundreds of kilograms of ivory. Much of it was tusks illegally imported from Kenya.

KAMPALA: A landslide triggered by torrential rain has buried entire villages and left more than 300 people missing in eastern Uganda, where at least 55 people have been killed.
Rescue workers began pulling bodies from the mud after the landslide on Monday evening, while the Ugandan Red Cross reported widespread flooding and damage.
Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Tarsis Kabwegyere told parliament that 55 bodies had been retrieved after the landslide that hit three villages in the eastern district of Bududa.

MOGADISHU: Somalia”s sports minister has died in hospital in Saudi Arabia weeks after he was critically wounded in a suicide bombing at a medical graduation ceremony in Mogadishu, relatives and officials said on Saturday.
Saleban Olad Roble passed away on Friday at a hospital in the Saudi capital Riyadh, where he and other victims of the Dec. 3 blast at the Shamo Hotel had been flown for treatment.
