PESHAWAR: At least nine people were killed in incidents spawned by downpours and landslidings in the upper areas of the NWFP, Geo News reported Tuesday. In Alpuri tehsil of Shangla district, at least four people including children and women lost their lives as their house roof collapsed on them. MNA from Shangla Fazlullah told Geo News that several houses were damaged in the recent lashing rains; while, the land links are also cut off owing to the landsliding.
