MUZZAFARABAD: The compensation cheques handed in to the injured victims and heirs of killed persons of Rawla Kot blast were bounced, Geo news reported Friday morning. Government of Azad Kashmir compensated cheques to the families of injured persons who sustained wounds amid defusing bomb and satisfied world but those money cheques proved not more than mere plain papers. It came to know to the effectees that the cheques on the accounts of compensation money had not been deposited money for more than a year when they reached bank to withdraw money, sources said.

KARACHI: The key meeting of Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) will be held on October 26, which will ponder on call of staging strike on October 27, Geo news reported on Sunday. According to chairman KTI, Arshad Bukhari the meeting will discuss matters relating to torched busses torched on different occasions in Karachi, besides, demand of compensation money for injured and heirs of deceased drivers amid deadly events.
