Norton has recently released Norton Smartphone Security for Android app. Their mobile security apps are nothing new. I remember using them for the first time on Nokia S60 devices.
Norton Smartphone Security for Android protects your mobile device and the information on it. If your mobile device is lost, stolen, or its SIM card removed, you can remotely disable your mobile device to prevent thieves from using it or accessing your private information.
You can even remotely delete all of your personal information so cyber criminals can’t use it to steal your identity or money. The most important feature that I really liked was the call blocking feature for Android phones. For all the new calls you get, it will ask you to whether place them in the whitelist or blacklist.
Rest of the features are pretty easy to find, which are all available on the main home screen of the app. Do give it a try, even though it’s useless, as of yet!
