NEW DELHI: Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram has slammed Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani over his comment that Pakistan can”t guarantee against another 26/11 attacks.
In a chat with an Indian tv channel today, the Indian Home Minister described Gilanis statement as irresponsible adding that if there is another attack from Pakistani soil, not only India but the whole world will hold Islamabad responsible.
It may be reminded that Prime Minister Gilani on Jan 22 said that Pakistan can not guarantee that another 26/11 would not take place in India.
Pakistan itself is facing Mumbai-like attacks almost every other day and when we cannot protect our own citizens, how can we guarantee that there wouldnt be any more terrorist hits in India?, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was quoted by a source as having told visiting US Defence Secretary Robert Gates.
