Tony Sacconaghi of Bernstein Research has estimated and issued a note that the whole iPhone 4 recall could cost Apple US $1.5 billion. He also said that if Apple does not consider the iPhone 4 recall even then the estimated lose for each week for iPhone 4 is $200 million.
Tony Sacconaghi also commented that it would not going to be happen that Apple will recall the iPhone 4 as a whole although the company is the biggest technology giant. He suggested that as alternates Apple can provide free bumper cases to iPhone 4 owners to avoid the antenna problem which is the main issue with the iPhone 4 which will cost Apple just $1 for each iPhone 4, which is not a bad deal instead of iPhone 4 recall of $1.5 billion.
