PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry has taken the suo motto notice of the incidents of suspects lashing in public by cops, Geo news reported late on Thursday.
According to sources, Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry has taken the notice of flogging of accused persons in public by some police officers as being shown again and again on television screens for two days.
CJ Chaudhry will himself hear the case in this connection in Peshawar today, sources told media.
