The newly released iOS 4.1 Beta 2 is jailbreakable using the existing version 0.9.5b5 of Redsn0w. However this Redsn0w jailbreak is supported on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G only. Here is the update on this from the iPhone Dev-Team blog:
If you’ve updated to 4.1beta2 on iPhone3G or iPod2G(non-MC), you can use this redsn0w from June to jailbreak. Just point it at the 4.0 IPSW (the public one, not the developer GM one).
(Yes – point it at the 4.0 IPSW even though you’re at 4.1beta2).
Don’t do this if you need the ultrasn0w carrier unlock!!

Finally there is some good news for HTC Dream G1 owners who were looking to Install Android 2.2 Froyo on their handsets. A stable and reliable Froyo build is now available for rooted HTC Dream G1 based on CyanogenMOD 6. All credit for this wonderful Froyo port goes to KenMood.

It’s one thing to compare how much mobile downloads cost you across various US carriers. Here’s how the US iPad data plan stacks up against what the rest of the world pays. It’s not pretty.

Here is a Stock 2.2 ROM with Sense based off the upcoming Froyo OTA. This is completely stock with the additions of su, Superuser.apk and busybox.
Camera, camcorder, Wifi, bluetooth, GPS, MMS, etc…have been confirmed working. Some software bugs have been found.
A full wipe and 2.x radio is required.

This is the fact that iOS 4 runs slower on older iDevices, especially users of iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G reported that after getting upgrade to the latest iPhone OS their devices became slow.
Now, if you want to speed up your iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G with iOS 4 then simply exclude all items from Spotlight Search on your device, to learn how to do that just watch out the video below.
The tutorial below is not recommended for iPhone 4, 3GS, 2G and iPod Touch 3G because its not that much useful for those all.

It’s just been a few days since Motorola Droid X was launched and it was already rooted a few days after that. Well, if you thought that was difficult to perform, here’s a new simple method to root Droid X with a very simple app.
